Bargaining Update, January 30

January 30, 2012

Negotiations for the renewal of our collective agreement continued this past week with a series of meetings held January 23rd thru January 27th with Rogers Citytv OMNI.

We have concluded negotiations on several non-monetary items.

Discussions have moved to monetary items – which include:

  • our proposals for a fair wage increase and for achieving steps on the wage scale that reflect an employee’s experience in their job category
  • updating and upgrading certain job classifications

We will continue to work hard to head the negotiations in a positive direction with further negotiations set for February 8th and 9th.

As always, it is our solidarity which will allow us to achieve a fair agreement.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

In Solidarity,

Your Local 830M Bargaining Committee:
