2022 Unifor 830m AGM Hi-lights

Thanks to all who attended our online AGM for Unifor 830m on November 8, 2022.

The main focus of this year’s AGM was welcoming new members to our local from the CityNews 1130 newsroom at the Ash Street, Vancouver building. The new members have established a contract negotiation committee and work is now in progress to define what the new members are looking for in a first contract with the employer.

Elections were held for the Secretary and vacant Vice President role on the executive council. Vivian Yu was re-elected as Secretary for our local. We also welcome a new member elected to the position of Vice-president for 830m, Riley Phillips.

For further details or to discuss issues affecting our local feel free to approach any executive council member in person or via email.
